The Case For a Quiet Holiday
It was an interesting holiday this year. Nothing happened. No crazy busy times with family and friends. No drama that will make a great story later. Instead it was quiet and relaxing — just hubby and me. (And gifts of course. There will always be gifts and good eating.)
What’s great about quiet: I get to think. To ponder about all the good things that happened this year. About all that I have to look forward to in 2018. To remind myself that in spite of the occasional obstacles, I have it pretty dang good.
I hope you had a blast over this holiday weekend — and also had time to stop and be grateful for it all.
