The Power of Celebration

Yes, I am a birthday fanatic. I love the idea that everyone has a special day to celebrate their presence on the planet. In the spirit of work hard/play hard, I block out the entire day.
As you read this, I am celebrating being 39 (again) at a fabulous spa. Maybe doing some shopping. Then it’s out to dinner with my better half. The party continues this weekend, doing more of my favorite things.
My take: Celebration is critical to our quality of life. When we pause and reflect on all the good in our lives, gratitude skyrockets. And that perspective carries forth in our daily routines.
So, when your big day arrives, go out there and play. Celebrate YOU.
