The Money Is Moving
Heads up: There’s a major change in the sponsorship game that everyone needs to know about. If you get speaker fees, endorsement details, appearance fees, this is important to you. Pay attention.
The bottom line: for many companies, there is no more line item called sponsorship. The money is absorbed into other budgets, integrating sponsorship with overall marketing campaigns. This changes everything, including who the buyers are. Look for more PR/ad firms to step up and help find “talent” or “properties” (that’s us) for the campaigns.
