Cool Opportunities in a Hot Market
The U.S. economy is opening up, causing many to feel optimistic about the future. And Corporate America is ready to take advantage of that, a recent study about consumers and brands finds. Not only is that good for companies, but it also creates opportunities for thought leaders.
2 Opportunities for Thought Leaders
The study analyzes 1 billion social and search behaviors, which alone makes it worth your attention. If you move past the great data on demographics and spending, though, you see two findings that show cool opportunities for thought leaders:
• Ring in the new. When consumers feel positive, they are more open to new ideas and initiatives. Watch for companies to launch “what’s new now” marketing blitzes. Those will lead to more opportunities for marketing experts, as well as sponsorship deals. In fact, growth plans will create more opportunities for everyone.

• Branding matters more. Consumers expect more from their relationships with companies. The study notes that folks are more mindful of where they spend their money, and 76% look for “quality.” This translates into more outreach and, yep, sponsorship/influencer deals. Right up our alley.
This consumer optimism can be the rising tide that lifts all boats. The key is to get your share of bigger corporate budgets. To do that, be the conduit between what customers care about and the company.
