Create a Brand Bridge
If you’re going to tell a story, let’s do it well. And what better place to learn than from Pixar. This Fast Company article along with their playbook makes it easy to get creative. (My favorite is rule #4.)
But I digress. Let’s take another look at this article. Move past the cool content. I see an interesting branding formula here: unrelated but famous for XX, you need this skill because of XX, so here are XXX quick ideas. Do you see how ideas from a movie studio can help you communicate your ideas?
Confession: I do this all the time for clients who have a great brand but want to make it bigger. When you strip down your brilliance to the foundation, you can find new places to play. The key: build a bridge between what you know and how that knowledge can be used. Go past the common uses — too many bridges there. Go into uncharted territory and see where you land.
