How to Write Books That Generate Fabulous Opportunities
Yes, books are great ways to get your brilliance out there. And it’s a popular route; more than 1 million titles were published last year alone.
Unfortunately, too many authors get opportunities they don’t want. It’s those free speeches “for exposure.” Or invites to podcasts that don’t drive traffic. Why is that? Because the book positions them as “talented but nondescript” instead of as a “rising star.”

Here’s what happens: A successful expert has honed a system that works wonders. They want to help more people, so it’s natural to assume a book that outlines that methodology is a no-brainer. The problem is the marketplace is flooded with random systems and “roadmaps.” Buyers have no idea why they should pay attention to yours. And if the author isn’t famous, why should anyone believe their system is worth the risk to implement?
What it comes down to is books that focus on a methodology get lost in the shuffle.
So, what should a book do to generate fabulous opportunities? Two things:
1. Make the reader rethink their assumptions
2. Cause the reader to see a situation differently
When readers agree with your take on their situation, then they are ready to hear your recommendations.
