New Transformations In HR
Many of us thought leaders in corporate have been taught to ignore, move around, and avoid Human Resources (HR) like the plague. This research from Bersin by Deloitte WhatWorks program shows why this might not be a good idea anymore.
The upshot: HR organizations are expanding from their current service delivery models to a trusted strategic advisor role. Two trends on why this transformation is on the fast track: 1) war for talent; and, 2) the old models are not flexible and efficient enough to deal with organizational demands.
Why should you care? Because if HR takes on a more consultative role to leadership, what do you think they will consult on? That’s right, our contribution to their cause.
So don’t be surprised if HR has a seat at the table. And that line execs are listening to them.
