The Best Marketing Tactic for Presenting Opposing Sides

The snippet above gives you an idea of how it presents the pros and cons of a topic. See the full infographic on Media Update’s website.
Presenting both sides of an issue is strategic, as well as helpful. Here are two scenarios when using the pro/con format is the best tactic:
• When the topic is popular: Media Update takes advantage of the popular trend of using humor in content marketing. It’s a great way to get attention. But sharing information that many folks miss when jumping on the bandwagon connotates independence. It shows that you can see around corners.
• When the ripple effect can be a surprise: The best example here is the irritation factor when played on repeat. By highlighting specific situations, you give a nuanced heads-up instead of being appearing negative for the sake of attention.
