The Power of Infographics
Helping people and not being seen as an on-the-ground subcontractor is a fine line we all walk. One way to do it is to produce facts-only content such as infographics. MarketingProfs posted an infographic recently that we can all mimic. (Free registration required to view the infographic.)
Move past my favorite part, which is the “no judgment, just the facts” tone in the graphic. You will see it rates a wide variety of resources. This tactic works best when:
• Making the right choice matters. When implementing a big project, choosing the wrong vendor can derail entire initiatives. So, anything that facilitates big buying decisions is not only valuable but also sharable.
• Buyers have lots of options. A lot of vendors do their own comparisons. The problem is they base their assessment on features in their own products, and yes, they are skewed. What I love about the infographic MarketingProfs posted is the author focused on the best fit, which is a perfect tactic to promote your outside perspective. And it’s a great way to show objectivity.

Content like infographics makes you a handy resource for clients who want to implement your big ideas.
