Two Changes to Make in 2015
Wow. Another year has flown by. As I survey the markets, I see a lot of volatility. To navigate this wild and wacky world, here are two changes I recommend to jumpstart 2015:
- Expand your network. Take a hard look at where you hang out and ask yourself: is this still the best place for me to be? It’s very seductive to stay where you are most known. But communities change over time. Re-evaluate and if you have to, reduce (or eliminate) your involvement. You can still keep in touch with your friends. But you have to make time to explore new worlds.
- Expand your perspective. It’s not enough to say the same things using different words. Now is the time to look at what isn’t being said. And give those ideas a voice. The more “real” our content gets, the more relevant we become.
Folks, we’re gonna wake up in a new world every day. If we set our radar on to looking for opportunity, we can grow in the midst of chaos.
