In the race for the best live performance, rock band U2 seriously upped the ante with its U2:UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere concert residency in Las Vegas. The shows leverage the venue’s immersive video and sound capabilities, which include a 160,000-sq.-ft. LED screen that wraps around the interior and speakers that have beamforming and wave field synthesis technologies.
The dazzling performance will change people’s expectations for industry events and meetings. They won’t expect 1.2 million LED panels, but they will want more “wow” experiences.
