What CFOs Care About Now
It’s always helpful to know the perspective of those who control the purse strings. This study by Bank of America takes a look at what is on the mind of Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) in corporate America.
The upshot of the 2013 CFO Outlook Midyear Update: these folks are bullish on the economy with over half (56%) expecting revenue growth. There’s also an increase in hiring by almost half (48%) of respondents, up from 45%. Translation: opportunities for talent management experts.
Their top priorities are new markets and international growth. Asia is the top target, creating opportunities for experts in that region. The top needs for above initiatives: on-the-ground expertise and risk management. Click here for the press release on the other findings.
My take: still a mixed bag, but great opportunities for folks like us. If you haven’t already, now is the time to get out there.
