What Top Marketers Are Doing This Year
In these crazy times, it’s important to look around and assess what’s working. That includes your marketing strategies. To help you, Sagefrog published a study that reveals what the top marketers are doing. (Free registration required to access the report.)
Two findings you need to pay attention to:
• Best places to get leads. Search engines produced the most leads last year, according to 34% of the marketers surveyed. That said, in-person events also had a strong showing, just under paid social media. What’s more interesting is what’s at the bottom of the list: virtual events and webinars, along with sponsorships (both at 14%). This is a big change from COVID times.
• New sales strategies. While 42% of the marketers said AI and automation is a top priority, video marketing and influencer marketing are in 2nd and 3rd place, respectively. At the bottom of the list are podcasts (21%) and organic social media (18%).
